Programme for small livestock improvement/Lenaneo la tokafatso ya dihutshane.

The start of 2025 saw the local traditional leadership initiating small livestock development for small farmers who were identified as priority based on the following criteria:-

• That they be owning at least 15 fifteen or more goats or sheep, that are shepared daily and taken care of by the owner or dedicated person.
• A maximum of two pure breed Boerbok rams were purchased and allocated to two locals who would take care of the rams for the period of twelve months starting 8/March 2025 until February 2026 when the next recipient will be allocated
• One mix breed dorpper type ram was also allocated to one sheep owners.

The first beneficiary of Boerbok Ram being Mr Kgagane Motlhabane and Mr Kgotlaetsile Khudunyane whereas Mr Lebeko Gabonnwe got a sheep Ram for the same period.
